Cozy little place in South El Monte.\u00c2\u00a0 Good mexican food with a twist.\u00c2\u00a0 They really try to be different here.\u00c2\u00a0 They have some standard fare but some things stood out.<\/p>\n

Standouts:<\/p>\n

Their appetizer the “Queso Fundido con Chorizo” was awesome, a little greasy but filled with flavor, comes with grilled green onions and tortillas.<\/p>\n

Their other standout dish in my mind (how ironic that i forgot the name) was the dessert,\u00c2\u00a0 it was basically like a pancake\/crepe stuffed with dulce de leche, topped with strawberries, whipped cream.<\/p>\n

TRY IT! food was good, big portions, comfortable ambience.
